We will help you go through the insurance process after damage
If your home has experienced extensive damage to your exteriors after a storm or other weather disaster, we will help you go through the steps to get adequate compensations from your insurance company. Read more about the process below:
Step 1 – Call a trusted and reliable contractor like Lexington Roofing and Remodeling. We have 10 years of industry experience working with insurance companies on storm related claims. You can rely on us to work professionally with your insurance company to ensure your satisfaction.
Step 2 – If your contractor finds enough damage on your home to warrant a claim you should contact your insurance company as soon as possible to begin the claims process.
Step 3 – After the insurance company agrees to pay to restore your storm damage home, they will give you the first of two checks (ACV – Actual Cash Value) to begin the work. This check will need to be endorsed by your mortgage company. Lexington Roofing and Remodeling will give you the information you need to have your check endorsed by your mortgage company in a timely manner.
Step 4 – Once your mortgage company has endorsed your check it is time to select your materials to be installed. What you put on your home is completely up to you! We have access to multiple suppliers so you can be confident when the time comes you will be happy with your choice in material.
Step 5 – Once the job is complete, Lexington Roofing and Remodeling will invoice your insurance company directly for the remaining payment. This is the RCV (Replacement Cost Value) check. Just like the ACV this will need to be endorsed by your mortgage company.
